Meet Amanda, Owner of The Knit Bar
I’ve taught hand knitting to hundreds of students, including leading large-scale classes with over 100 attendees at events like Pinners. Creating a space that feels both elevated and welcoming—while helping people accomplish something with their own hands—is what drives everything I do.
I’m passionate about teaching in a way that feels: Fun, Patient, Approachable, and Encouraging so everyone leaves proud of what they made and excited to try again.
I learned hand knitting as a creative outlet and quickly fell in love with how simple, relaxing, and satisfying it felt. When I saw how excited others were to try it—and how proud they felt finishing their first project—I knew I wanted to start teaching and share that experience.
What I love most is watching people realize, “Wait… I can actually do this.” Guests leave The Knit Bar feeling confident, inspired, and excited to keep creating long after class is over.
